Antigua takes great care in sourcing its lumber from responsibly farmed plantations.
Every piece of lumber we use carries with it a certificate of origin stating where it came from and the chain of custody through which it was delivered to our plant. Antigua also supports the Forest Stewardship Council's Smartwood program by purchasing a percentage of its lumber from Smartwood certified suppliers. In 2008, Antigua will be unveiling a new collection of ecologically built furniture made from 100% certified lumber and finished with our own unique blend of 100% natural oils and non-petroleum based waxes. |
